Integrating Technology in the Education system means involving technology resources like computers, mobile devices, tablets, digital cameras, social media platforms and networks, software applications, and the Internet, into the daily classroom practices of the curriculum.

Children are now exposed automatically to how to use electronic devices like a pro, the whole learning and teaching process has gone digital. Successful technology integration is made to make Education a transparent and accessible resource for all students. While supporting the curriculum goals it aims to help education providers and their participants to effectively reach their respective goals.

Technology integration aims to use technology responsibly and correctly to acquire, demonstrate, apply, and communicate information with new resources and advancements, to encourage creativity and innovation among education providers and learners that will assist them in moving closer to modern ways to explain and communicate their innovative ideas.

Technology has become an integral part of the regular study curriculum, which enables students to explore new avenues of learning. With the help of presentations, visual stimulation, videos, and other teaching tools, teachers are also given opportunities to teach their students in newer methods. This, in turn, gives them more confidence to explain concepts to their students in a language they understand. Students are also more engaged in projects when technology tools are seamlessly integrated into the learning process.

Seamless integration of technology in classrooms happens when students not only use technology daily but also have access to a range of tools that can cater to their specific requirements and help them develop a more profound understanding of the content. In addition to having access to such tools, a willingness to embrace this positive change is also essential for successful technology integration in a classroom setting.

Technology is continuously, and rapidly, evolving. It is an ongoing process and demands continual learning. When effectively integrated into the curriculum, technology tools can extend learning in several helpful ways. These can help provide:

  • Provide methods of collecting/recording data
  • Helps collaborate with students, teachers, and experts around the world
  • Get access to software to create projects, search engines and educational videos.
  • Assist in expressing understanding via multimedia

Reasons why Education providers Need To Use Technology in the Classroom:

  • Technology Provides Educators with More Tools to Support teaching and learning.
  • Learners Become Active Participants in the Learning Process by Using Technology in the Teaching Process.
  • Education Providers Who Become Experts at Using Technology in the Classroom Can Advance Their Careers.

As children in today’s world are surrounded by digital technology, it must be integrated appropriately into the teaching curriculum. However, the learning experiences provided to students must be practical, meaningful, and not just online. To achieve this, classroom activities should involve the latest technology to help students gather, showcase, and exchange ideas.
