Agriculture in Sub-Saharan Africa

Cure Technologies, a Technology and AgriBusiness company, is committed to transforming Sub-Saharan Africa’s agricultural sector by integrating advanced technology with sustainable farming infrastructure. Our flagship product, AgriFAAS Connect, is designed to address critical challenges in agriculture, such as food scarcity, high operational costs, and limited access to resources and markets. By establishing a network of digitally supported, irrigation-fed farms across 100,000 acres, AgriFAAS Connect aims to empower smallholder farmers, promote food security, and foster job creation. We seek funding to scale AgriFAAS Connect across Sub-Saharan Africa, creating 5,000 direct and 6,000 indirect jobs, with a focus on young women and marginalized groups. This proposal outlines our strategies, objectives, activities, and projected impact.

Agriculture in Sub-Saharan Africa faces numerous challenges. Smallholder farmers, who form the backbone of food production, lack access to technology, markets, and resources needed for sustainable growth. Issues like climate change, urbanization, and rising agricultural costs further intensify the region’s food scarcity and unemployment rates. Women, youth, and marginalized communities, including persons with disabilities (PWDs) and refugees, are disproportionately impacted by these limitations. The need for scalable solutions that address resource scarcity, climate adaptation, and income stability has never been more urgent.

AgriFAAS Connect is uniquely designed to bridge these gaps by providing smallholder farmers with an integrated platform that combines real-time data, climate-resilient infrastructure, and market access. This project aligns directly with the SDGs’ mission to promote resilience, economic inclusion, and sustainability through innovative and impactful projects.
