Regional Irrigation Farming Through Farming Hubs
CTSG Ventures is building a network of standardized, solar-powered irrigation farming hubs — each one a self-contained production, training, and aggregation center, managed end-to-end on the AgriFAAS Farm Manager platform.
The Hub Model
Every AgriFAAS Farm Hub integrates physical infrastructure with digital farm management:
- Solar-powered irrigation — climate-resilient water delivery independent of grid power and rainfall cycles
- Water storage — extended growing seasons beyond the rains (a 200,000-litre storage system is targeted at our Tsiame hub)
- Diversified production — a rotating mix of crops and livestock tailored to each region’s soils and markets
- Aggregation centers — hubs connect smallholder outgrowers to input credit and off-takers, de-risked by verified farm data
- Training sites — every hub doubles as a practical classroom for extension officers and agripreneurs
The Roadmap
We start where the ground is proven:
Phase 1 — Tsiame Farm Hub (Volta Region): a 20-acre solar-irrigated hub, now under construction, operated by our resident on-site field team.
Phase 2 — Scale to 100 acres: expand Tsiame into the launchpad hub for full-season commercial production.
Phase 3 — Replicate across the sub-regions: deploy standardized modular hubs of 10–250+ acres across Ghana’s sub-regions, with The Gambia and other West African markets in the expansion plan.
Jobs, Women & Youth
Each hub creates permanent local employment and a training pipeline — our programs have already trained 111 extension officers and launched 50 agripreneurs (35 of them women). Hub trainees participate in 30+ existing VSLA networks in their communities, connecting training to local savings and credit.
